Fun and Games
Hey Guys !!!Trust you all had a wonderful and prosperous Chinese New Year. Hope the brief holiday treated all of you well. Today, we had our fourth meeting. It was more of a laid back styled meeting.
First as usual we recited the Interact Song. After that, we started off the games. Since Valetines Day is right around the corner, we played a game called ‘Honey I Love You’.
For those of you who are unfamiliar with this game, it basically calls for everyone to sit in a circle except for the one special individual who starts the game. This individual has to walk up to anyone of the opposite gender in the circle and say the phrase, ”Honey I Love You, if you love me too smile”. If the second person smiles, then first person get to sit down while the second person continues with the game and looks for someone else to say the phrase to. Those who failed to make someone smile were punished meanwhile those who excelled were rewarded sweets.
Before we continued with our second game, we took the opportunity to award the winning team from the treasure hunt.
Our second game we played , was Pass the Parcel. This game is quite straight forward. In a circle the members passed a parcel filled with many challenges written on pieces of paper as the music is plays . When the music stops. the last person holding the parcel would have to open it and complete a challenge .
For all your information, the music for the game was sang live by our very own Adam Eiman and Ariff Bahran.
To sum it all up, these games were such a great way to bring all our members closer together. Overall, we had quite a successful meeting.

ICDU Annual Treasure Hunt 2014 + More !
As we are in the midst of beginning 2014, the ICDU would like to take this opportunity to wish our fellow Interacters, friends and beloved readers a Happy New Year. Along with 2014, came many exciting changes including a new Board of Directors. We are also pleased to say that we had an overwhelming response from the students of SMK Damansara Utama and managed to recruit a lot of Interacters.
To kick off the first meeting, the Board of Directors introduced themselves and randomly chosen members did the same. The festivities continued, with The Toilet Paper Game. What is the Toilet Paper Game, you ask? It is a game where each interacter takes as much tissue papers from the toilet paper roll to their hearts content. Based on the amount of tissue papers they take, they would have to reveal facts about themselves. This game was such a success and was a great way to get to know our new members.
On the second week, we decided to host a general trivia quiz. The questions that we asked ranged from “Who is the Assistant IU Day Director?” to “Who was the best football player of 2013?”Sweets were rewarded to the members that answered the questions correctly. After that, we divided everyone into groups and played a round of charades
However this week, we decided to spice things up by taking a different approach to our weekly meetings. We organized our Annual Treasure Hunt. A total of seven stations including the treasure spot were set up throughout the school. At each station, a challenge was set up.
The members were divided into six groups and were sent to respective stations.
In order to win, a group would have to complete all the challenges and assemble at the Treasure spot.
This game managed to cultivate the members competitive side and helped them work together not to mention bond.
Overall, these has been a couple of successful meetings.
